📣 Leadership isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it looks like scrubbing baseboards, signing your own checks, and deciding you won’t play small anymore.

This post is part of the Leadership Integration Series, a 4-part reflection on visibility, voice, and healing through business.
I’ve spent most of my life as the right-hand woman.
The fixer. The closer. The assistant manager who made sure everything ran smooth — while someone else got the credit.
But this time?
This one’s mine.
Pine & Shine is more than a cleaning business.
It’s a legacy I’m building with my daughter.
And it’s the first time I’ve let myself step fully into the role of boss.
Not the behind-the-scenes kind.
The real kind.
The kind that signs the checks, makes the rules, and puts her name on the damn door.
I’ll be honest — it’s brought up some stuff.
Visibility is a big one.
I’ve been afraid of showing up, especially on video.
Afraid of being seen too much… or not enough.
